I often use a kettle to brew a cup of coffee, but I always boil too much extra water. In a similar case, in the UK, the energy from an over-heated electronic kettle alone can supply all the energy for a day's worth of lights in the city.

One day, an electronic kettle brought from Japan broke down. When he contacted the manufacturer, he was told that the repair cost was the same as the price of a new one. When he disassembled the kettle, he found that there were so many parts that it was difficult to tell which part was broken. Moreover, we found that many of the parts were welded together and not made to be reused.

Reviewing everyday objects, we could see that there were a lot of problems and we designed to solve small problems little by little.
